La Plata Port is the first Argentine port of Río de la Plata and has a depth of 28 feet. This port also has yard located on the South bank of the estuary of the River Plate. The Access Channel works under standard IALA beacons, allowing the operation of the Puerto La Plata for 24 hours. Capacity: 600,000 m2 for storage of goods, 150,000 m2 for storage of cars and machinery.

About the Central Dock riverside Ensenada: Sites 7 and 8, for bulk solids (coal), operated by the company Copetran SA, maximum draft: 28 feet, internationally certified ISPS Code. Site 9: general cargo, 270 meters of quay, 60 meters. Backup storage 28 feet maximum draft internationally certified ISPS Code. Sites 10, 11 and 12: Liquid bulk, operated by Repsol-YPF SA, maximum depth 24 feet, internationally certified ISPS Code.
About Central Dock riverside Berisso: Sites 14, 15 and 16, suitable for liquid bulk, operated by Repsol-YPF SA, maximum depth 24 feet, internationally certified ISPS Code. Sites 18 and 19, suitable for general cargo, 24 feet maximum draft. Site 20, permanent mooring of boats of service, maximum depth 24 feet.
It should be noted that all springs located on the Central Dock connection have energy to ship (220-380 volts) and potable water system. About Rio Santiago:Site 23, 250 meters long and 24 feet of water, for the commercial service of Rio Santiago Shipyard and the Zona Franca La Plata. Site 24, Terminal Puerto Rocca, steel cargo, 18 feet of water.
